A raffle organised by insurance broker Ibex Insurance has raised 335 euros to help replace the items that were stolen from Forget Me Not’s storage shed last month.

Forget Me Not meet every Monday between 10:30 and 13:30 at the Cultural Centre, and offer free respite care for carers of loved ones with Alzheimer’s, Dementia and other long-term illnesses.

Thieves stole the group’s tea urn, hi-fi speakers, heaters and even a small square of astro turf, amongst other things, but thanks to generous donations from both local individuals and businesses, Forget Me Not are now able to replace the missing items.
