Camposol mum-of-two Danielle has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, which has, sadly, spread to five other places, including her liver. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and has started taking Cannabis oil as a complemetary therapy, under the guidance of Medical Cannabis Advice Spain.

Danielle and her family have started growing their own plants, however, it will take approximately 12 to 14 weeks before they can begin to process them into oil. Cannabis oil is expensive and it will cost around 3,000 euros for enough oil to last the 27-year-old in the meantime.

Camposol residents are banding together to raise money to help fund the cost of the treatment. You can donate to Danielle’s cause online via Facebook, or Medical Cannabis Advice Spain’s PayPal. You can also donate in person at the following places: Compusurf, Costa Cafe, Euronics, Rudy’s, Just Fabulous, Trevi and Furniture Plus.

Fundraising Events

  • There is a collection at Trevi’s karaoke night between 17:00 and 21:00 on Sunday, 6th January
  • Ocean Fish Bar are holding a drinks raffle consisting of vodka, whiskey, brandy and wine from Thursday, 10th January. Pop in to purchase tickets.
  • Byron Greenaway is holding a fundraising event at Bar Salud on Thursday, 10th January.
  • Danielle’s friends have a stall at the car boot sale at Mesón Mariano’s on Sunday, 13th January, between 09:30 and 12:00
  • Beauty Palace are holding an open day on 19th January, where there will be waxing, haircuts, blow dries, etc.
  • Bob Shoesmith is organising a fundraising walk. More details to follow.

  2. The Beauty Palace on Camposol B is doing an open day on Saturday 19th January. Blow drys, hair cuts, shellac nails, waxing etc All money raised will be for Danielle. 💖
