There’s a market on Sector A between 09:00 and 13:00 today, and a Spiritual & Psychic Fayre in aid of Helping the Perrera Dogs at Mesón Mariano between 17:00 and 21:00, where there will be psychic mediums, tarot card readings, crystal healing and more! Entry costs 5 EUR.
The Vista Bar are holding their weekly Quiz & Curry Night this evening from 18:00, and at Mazarrón Country Club, there’s a garden party in aid of the Mazarrón Bahía Lions Club with a disco, barbecue and raffle. Tickets cost 8 EUR and can be purchased by phoning 605 112 205.
It’s Karaoke Night with Bernie Mac at Cat’s Bar from 21:00, and The Club House have their weekly Thursday Evening Jam Night at 21:30.
Alhama de Murcia’s Los Dolores neighbourhood’s annual fiesta starts today with a street party from 18:30, a photography exhibition at 18:45, a football match from 20:30, and musical performances by The Wrong Way at 21:30 and Vinagre at 22:30.

There’s a market on Sector B between 10:30 and 12:30 this morning, and this evening, there’s a disco with Big Don at the Black Bull from 18:30, and it’s Quiz Night at Bar Retro at 21:00.
Pavarotti & Friends star Nikki Gale is performing at Party on the Plaza from 21:00, as is vocalist and guitarist Andy Winwood at The Condado Club.
There’s a free oil painting workshop from 16:00 at Mazarrón’s Casas Consistoriales to celebrate their 125th anniversary. Spaces are limited, so call into the Casas Consistoriales to book or phone 683 196 634.
Los Dolores’ fiesta kicks off this evening with games for children at 19:00, a football match at 20:00, and a performance by Covering at 22:00.
Saturday, 16th September 2017
Los Dolores’ fiesta starts bright and early this morning with a 13 km walk up to the La Muela ridge. The walk costs 10 EUR, which needs to be paid into La Caixa bank, and includes a meal at Bar Toni and a commemorative t-shirt.
There are games with prizes to be won at 18:30, and a performance by GEMA at 22:00.
Beauty Palace are holding an Open Day between 11:00 and 14:30. There’s a sponsored male waxing at 13:30, and all proceeds raised will go towards Deborah Bowditch, an ex-Camposol resident who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2012, which has now spread to her lung. She will use the money to visit her family in South Africa before she is too ill to travel.
There’s a free guided walk around Mazarrón Mines today. Spaces are limited, so visit visitamazarron.com to book or phone 968 594 426.
Spanish band Aires de la Calle are playing at Party on the Plaza from 21:00, while on the urbanisation, Queen tribute band Queen Forever are performing at Oscar’s Bar, also from 21:00. Entry costs 10 EUR.
Ex-Hot Chocolate frontman Greg Bannis is singing at Cat’s Bar & Tel’s Bar at 21:30, and on Sector C, singer Danny Ray is covering rock and pop songs from the fifties to the present day at The Club House from 21:00.
The Geckos are playing at The Condado Club on Condado de Alhama at 21:30, covering seventies, eighties and nineties hits by artists such as the Beegees and Elvis Costello, and there’s another oil painting workshop from 16:00 at the Casas Consistoriales. Remember to book your place!

There’s music from 09:00 at Los Dolores’ fiesta, and then a sardine feast at 10:00. At 20:30, there’s mass and a procession, and then a party at 22:00, followed by fireworks at 23:30 to mark the end of the fiesta.
There’s a car boot sale taking place in Mesón Mariano’s car park between 09:30 and 12:30, and The Geckos are playing at The Blues House from 18:00.
It’s Quiz Night this evening at the Black Bull from 20:00, The Condado Club from 20:30 and Cat’s Bar from 21:00.
Once again, there’s an oil painting workshop at the Casas Consistoriales from 16:00, and The Vista Bar are holding a BBQ fundraiser for Deborah Bowditch at the same time with live entertainment by Rod Stewart impersonator Steve Fisher. Tickets cost 6 EUR and can be purchased by calling 649 219 270.
