There’s a market in Alhama de Murcia today, and tonight, for Flamenca Week, there are performances by Manuel León, Curro Piñana, Cristina Legaz, Javier Ayala, Elías Caballero, María Isabel Marín, Ramón López, Luís Llamas and Francisco Carillo from 21:00 at Teatro Cine Velasco. Entry is invite-only, apparently.

There’s a market in Totana today between 08:00 and 13:30, and at Alhama de Murcia’s Flamenca Week, it’s the world premiere of documentary José Mercé at 21:00 at Casa de la Cultura. Entry is free.
Pop and rock duo Jacuzzi are playing at Party on the Plaza from 21:00, and it’s Quiz Night at Cat’s Bar, also at 21:00.

There’s a market on Sector A today, and two charity events this evening: Mazarrón Bahía Lions’ Fun Race Night and Green Fingers Gardening Group’s Beetle Drive & Quiz Night.
Mazarrón Bahía Lions’ Fun Race Night is taking place at Mesón Mariano from 19:30. Tickets cost 8 EUR and include a meal of chicken and chips. They can be purchased by calling 634 324 562.
Green Fingers Gardening Group’s Beetle Drive & Quiz Night starts at 19:30 at The Club House, where there will be music provided by DJ Carl ‘The Big Welshman’ Thomas. Tickets cost 5 EUR and are available from Lower C representatives or by calling 634 325 427.
The Vista Bar are holding their weekly Quiz & Curry Night from 18:00, and The Club House have their Thursday Evening Jam Night at 21:30. Pop singer Scott James is performing at Bar Salud from 20:30.
Over at Museo los Baños in Alhama de Murcia, there’s a dance with performances by Encarnación Fernández and Antonio Muñoz at 19:30 for Flamenca Week. Entry is free.

There’s a market on Sector B today, and also in El Paréton. ABBA tribute act ABBA-Solutely Fabulous are performing at Party on the Plaza from 21:00, and swing band The Trouper’s Swing Band are playing at Oscar’s Bar at the same time.
It’s Quiz Night at Bar Retro from 19:30, and there’s another dance with a performance by José Antonio Aarnaoutse, Jesús Gea and Agustín Garnés from 21:00 at Teatro Cine Velasco for Flamenca Week. Entry is invite-only.

There’s a market in both Mazarrón and Fuente Álamo today, and also a free guided walk from Cabo Cope to Cabo Tiñoso spanning two days. The first stage of the route is approximately 35 km and runs from Cabo Cope in Aguilas to Bolnuevo, with a stop at Puntas de Calnegre to eat, while the second stage is approximately 15 km and runs from Bolnuevo to Cabo Tiñoso in La Azohía. There’s a Music Fair on Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Mazarrón this weekend where there’s a singing workshop at 11:00, followed by an introduction to musical instruments at 11:15, a workshop where you can build and play your own instruments at 12:00 and a musical story at 12:44.
Flamenca Week kicks off with a free percussion workshop for parents and children between 11:30 and 12:30 at Museo los Baños. Places are limited, so call 606 666 749 to secure your place. Later that evening, there are performances by Juan Ogalla, Miguel Rosendo and Eugenio Iglesias at Teatro Cine Velasco from 21:00. Entry is invite-only.

There’s a market in Puerto de Mazarrón, Águilas and Cañadas del Romero today, and a car boot sale in Mesón Mariano’s car park between 09:30 and 12:30.
Mazarrón’s Music Fair continues this morning with a singing workshop at 10:00, followed by an introduction to musical instruments to 10:15, a workshop where you can build and play your own instruments at 10:40 and a musical story at 11:15.
There’s a free 90-minute guided tour of the castle in Alhama de Murcia at 11:00 – visit murciaturistica.es to book your place – and it’s day two of Totana’s rally with races at 10:00 and 12:00.
It’s Quiz Night this evening at the Black Bull from 20:00, The Condado Club from 20:30 and Cat’s Bar from 21:00, and Colt 45 are playing at The Blues House from 18:00.
